Return & Refund Policy
Cancelling an order for any reason is subject to a 15% fee based on order total. (This fee could be negotiated with the supplier, if the fee is deemed null & void the client will be notified and refunded accordingly)
You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. A 10% admin fee is also levied on returns.
If you have received damaged or defective goods from the online store (https://sheergear.co.za), please email us at Johnathan@sheergear.co.za with:
- Proof of purchase
- Image of the damaged goods
If you have received incorrect goods from the online store (https://sheergear.co.za/), please email us at Johnathan@sheergear.co.za with:
- Proof of purchase
- Images of the incorrect goods
Once we receive the above, we will inspect it and notify you whether you are eligible for a return
If the goods are found to be defective or faulty after use, please email us at Johnathan@sheergear.co.za with:
- Proof of purchase
- Images of the defective goods
- Detailed description of the problems experienced
To be eligible for a replacement or repair:
- The goods should have been used for their intended purpose and design and in accordance with the goods’ instructions and/or user manual.
- The goods were not misused or purposely damaged
If the goods are found to be eligible for replacement or repair Shear Gear South Africa will liaise with the supplier on behalf of the customer.
There may be a courier cost to have certain products repaired. This cost is for the customer’s account and will be quoted upfront.
When returning goods for repair, please ensure they are in a hygienic condition with as much of the original packaging as possible (if available).
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned
item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate an exchange or gift voucher immediately.
You may return the item to the agreed upon location.
Shear Gear is not responsible for courier fees for returns. Shear Gear will not collect returns from SAPO, PostNet or any other location.
